Driving Directions:From Pennsylvania Turnpike (heading east)

Get off on exit 3. Travel south on Rt 19 approx. 7 miles through 8-9 traffic lights. At the last traffic light at North Allegheny High School, continue south. On downgrade, get in right lane and exit on to McKnight Ave. Turn left at fifth traffic light on to green belt, Peebles, and go through 2 traffic lights and turn right at third traffic light. Proceed and bear right at next 4-way stop sign. Proceed south on Thompson Run to next traffic light. The Cathedral is on the left. You may park in the swim club parking lot.

From Pennsylvania Turnpike (heading west)

Take Exit 4 and travel south towards Pittsburgh approximately 3-4 miles through ~7 traffic lights to the 8th at Auld's Hardware (green belt). Turn right on green belt. Travel forward across railroad tracks, up hill through intersection of Mt Royal forward about 2 miles to traffic light at Duncan Manor shopping plaza. Travel straight through 4-way stop sign to Thompson Run Road about 0.2 miles to next traffic light. The Cathedral is on the left. You may park in swim club parking lot.

From Pittsburgh

Take Parkway North (Rt 279) from Three Rivers Stadium or Veterans Bridge (Rt 579) to Parkway North (Rt 279) about 2-2.5 miles to exit 18 McKnight Rd. Exit on to McKnight (exit from right) then bear left on McKnight. (then continue through business district or alternate below.)

Continuation: Business District

Travel north on McKnight through approximately 10 traffic lights through turnaround traffic light at Northway Mall to next traffic light at Peebles Rd (green belt). Bear right up gentle ramp on to Peebles and travel through 2 traffic lights to the third. Turn right at third traffic light (gas station on left). Travel past Allegheny Memorial park. Bear right just before the 4-way stop sign on to Thompson Run Rd about 0.2 miles to the next traffic light. St Alexander Nevsky OCA American Orthodox Cathedral is located diagonally on the left side.

Continuation: Alternate

After you have exited 279 at exit 18 McKnight Rd and beared left on to McKnight, proceed north on McKnight through 1 traffic light (Amoco gas station), up and down the hill, turn right off McKnight as you cross overpass bridge. Turn left at the stop sign on to Babcock Blvd and travel 0.1-0.2 miles to the next traffic light. Turn left on to Thompson Run Rd and travel 3.75 miles to the second traffic light. St Alexander Nevsky OCA American Orthodox Cathedral is on the right. If Sunday morning, you may park in the swim club parking lot.

5:00 PM Vespers (7:00 PM June--September) followed by Confessions.

Sunday Morning
9:00 AM Church School and Adult class (September--May). 10:00 AM Divine Liturgy (9:30 AM during summer months) followed by coffee social in church hall.

Eves of Great Feasts
Vespers is usually served on the eve; call the rectory to confirm times.

Mornings of Great Feasts
9:00 AM Divine Liturgy. Call the rectory to confirm times.

Confessions
Private Confessions are heard following Vespers on Saturday evenings or by appointment. General Confession is held once a month.
