The 2025 Archdiocesan Assembly of the Archdiocese of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania (Orthodox Church in America) will be held at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (8290 Thompson Run Road, Allison Park, PA 15101) on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Begining with a Divine Liturgy celebrated at 9 AM by the archbishop and assigned clergy.

- Attached in a single PDF file are the November 1ARCHDIOCESAN ASSEMBLY meeting materials that I have received thus far. Reports not included will be emailed later, paper copies distributed at the Assembly or presented orally. Also attached is a second PDF with the W.T. Grimm external audit report for FY 2024. Please share this information locally. Paper copies will not be provided at the Allison Park Cathedral that day. Please note this material is produced exclusively for appropriate use by the members of the Archdiocese of Pittsburgh and W PA (OCA).
- Parishes are reminded to please submit the properly completeddelegate registration/fee materials to the chancery no later than this Saturday (October 25). This material was previously sent to each parish both electronically and via the USPS. Each diocesan parish without an assigned parish priest is reminded to work with your local Dean concerning the submission of these materials since the Dean is administratively responsible for your parish.
- Archdiocesan Council members (with the exception of Archdiocesan Council priests), and members of the Internal Audit Committee, planning to attend the Assembly should notify me no later than Monday, October 27, by email or phone.
- The chancellor and deans will vest (wearing gold) to concelebrate the 9 AM Liturgy with the hierarch. Deacons vesting for Liturgy will be notified by me shortly concerning concelebration. Other priests and deacons should come to Liturgy prepared in the appropriate liturgical vestments to enter the Holy Altar after the “Lord’s Prayer” is sung to receive Communion. Please wait to enter the Holy Altar through the north deacon door until signaled.
