Archdiocese of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania
LATE VOCATIONS - CATECHETICAL STUDIES

The Archdiocesan Late Vocations—Catechetical Program begins this fall, on Thursday, September 17, and will meet weekly on Thursdays through December 10.  The Program features training in the Orthodox Faith to accomplish several goals, to produce candidates for the Diaconate, to help better educate the faithful of the Church about their Orthodox Faith; and to arm and train Orthodox Christians to be living witnesses of their faith as trained catechists and church school teachers.  The program is open to all faithful of the Archdiocese and all persons interested in learning more about the Orthodox Faith.

This Semesters subject matter is AN INTRODUCTION TO OUR ORTHODOX FAITH AND WORSHIP.  Classes are held at Holy Assumption of St. Mary Orthodox Church, 105 S. 19th St., Pittsburgh, PA and begin at 7:00pm.

For further information please contact Archpriest Paul Ziatyk at (724)337-8162 or the Archdiocesan Center at (724) 776-5555.
