EXTRAORDINARY ASSEMBLY

 POSTPONED

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

             His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN, upon the unanimous motion of the Archdiocesan Council, has postponed the Archdiocesan Extraordinary Assembly scheduled for May 3 to a later date yet to be announced.  This will allow the Archdiocese to consider additional candidates in light of Igumen Jonah (Paffhausen) withdrawing his name for consideration for the Episcopal See of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. 

           Again this means that there will be NO Archdiocesan Extraordinary Assembly on Saturday, May 3.
