The technique of Iconography
The dogma of veneration of icons and the freedom of choice of technique for iconographers formulated by the VII Ecumenical Council of Nicea (787 after Christ).
Fundamental criterion for the choice of material for the images is solidity: surface is made of stone, wood, or metal; the paint choices are tempera or gouache. Instructor is Olga Foight.

Iconography workshop: Saturdays, October 3 through November 7. 4 pm till 5.45 pm, Great Vespers starts at 6pm, everybody is invited,
$120 fee for beginners includes all materials, in use: gouache and gold leave.
